Terms of Use
By downloading or purchasing patterns, illustrations, fonts, or clip art (“digital products”) from Marz Today / marz.today (“Artist”), you (“Client”) agree to the following:
- Digital products are free for personal, educational, and non-profit projects unless indicated.
- The client may not alter or edit the digital product.
- Digital product prices are subject to change. No price adjustments or refunds shall be made or paid back.
- Clients who intend to sell any of the works based on the patterns published by the artist require a standard license that is valid and binding for one (1) year from the date of purchase and shall be renewed as needed.
- The use of digital products or the purchase of a license is non-exclusive.
- The purchase of a license does not transfer rights or ownership of the design to the client.
- The client may not lend, share, or copy file(s) to third-parties, customers, or partners.
- Commercial use of digital products includes digital and print publications such as flyers, magazines, advertisements, logos, and marketing paraphernalia.
- The use of digital products for commercial purposes entails acquiring a license prior to its use or production of any project or product.
- Embedding digital products in applications or products not covered by standard commercial license requires written approval from the artist.
- All sales are final, non-refundable, and non-returnable.
Angel Policy
- A design produced by the artist may be used on a client’s product or project so long as they are hand-stamped and not mass-produced in quantities of 300 units and up.
- Clients may sell the artist’s designs as hand-printed ephemera or as part of a collage so long as they have purchased the stamp directly from the artist.
- The purchase of a stamp does not transfer rights or ownership of the design to the client.
- Designs by the artist cannot be digitized for the purpose of being sold as a digital product.
- Clients who have purchased a stamp to design their own merchandise may use the design as part of the overall product and not resell the stamp as part of an exclusive collection.
- The use of the design is not exclusive to the client.
- The client cannot take credit for a stamped image as their own.
- The client is allowed to scan, photograph, and share projects made by them.
- To secure exclusive commercial use of any design by the artist, the client must obtain a paid license.
9.1 Design exclusivity does not work retroactively on any similar or look-a-like designs purchased by previous clients. - Artist does not claim ownership of any licensed images or brand logos owned by a client. The client shall not hold the artist responsible for the use of products that have look-a-likes or similarities to licensed images.
